All the world’s a stage Professor Nethra, and this is yet another Play, grunted the Man with a mask. Professor Nethra was taken aback with the sight of a Pistol pointed towards him.
Don’t dare to move, warned the masked man in a baritone. Professor stood still. Well, here comes the punch in our play “Come on, your money or your life” he let out an evil laugh.
Professor Nethra was in all fears, he started sweating profusely. “Calm down”, “Don’t panic” he kept telling himself trying to pacify his fear. What do you want? Professor’s voice broke as he spoke.
Didn’t you hear what I said now? The eyes above the mask turned Red. Give me all your money, your Life is the only thing I would spare if you co-operate, I mean only if you co-operate.
You want my hard earned money, Never!! I would rather die than giving my money to a hooligan like you, Professor’s spat out his words in fury.
Don’t try to be too smart professor, whether you die or not I am sure, I’m going to take away all your money, so why lose your precious life over a cheap deal.
You call it ‘cheap’ you thug, do you know the meaning of ‘Hard-work’? Do you know how much sweat and hard work I have put in earning that money? Professor was trying hard to control his tears.
See, I don’t have any time to waste over any of your Lectures here, keep that with your students. I’m here on a business, open the lockers for me now or else… saying so he pressed the pistol against professor’s temple.
Shivers shot down the spines of Professor Nethra, His wife, his children, his beloved students; the faces of everyone came before his eyes in a flash. Finally he succumbed involuntarily to do the inevitable.
The masked man, lead the Professor upstairs in Gun point. When they reached the locker room he tied the Professor to a chair. Professor’s face was as hard as flint; he was immersed in deep thought.
Come on tell me how to open this, the robber shouted, he was in a hurry, this brought the Professor back into his senses. You need to enter the pass code, he spoke mechanically.
Don’t irritate me professor, I know that , give me the pass code now, he roared pointing the pistol towards him. Ok ok, I’ll tell you here it is, 341567278124. The masked man’s finger ran through the keypad swiftly.
Then?? he threw a quizzical look on the professor. Press the Green button behind the keypad, and then.., Professor Nethra paused for a second. Come on don’t waste my time, the robber hurried him up.
Before that press the Blue colored button next to the locker, professor put his head down after saying that. That’s what i call a Gentleman, the robber chuckled at the Professor. He pressed the Blue button followed by the Green.
‘Click’ the locker made a gentle noise. The robber threw the locker doors wide open. His eyes glittered! Money!! His mouth spurted out words automatically. Hard earned money, Professor muttered.
Cut it down Mr. Professor, I’m tired of hearing that over and over again. I’m also risking my life here to get this money you see, the robber mocked at him. Yeah really, the Professor smirked.
The masked man emptied the locker into his bag. He wasn’t wasting anytime. As soon as he finished his job, he came near the professor. Bye Professor, I don’t have enough time to search through your house, I have another assignment, so I’ll stop with this. Do you want me to call your wife, to let you free?? He mocked the Professor; Professor Nethra gave him a frown in return.
The masked man ignored him and made his way to the ground floor. He used the same window through which he came inside the house, to get out of the house as well.
The masked man increased his pace as he walked towards his bike parked in the street end. He was very cautious he looked around before he inserted the key into the bike. He looked down to the kicker.
Thudd!! A huge blow on his head made him fall on to the ground. Next moment he was groaning in pain, swiveling on the ground. Someone pulled him up holding his collar. Now he could see three policemen in Khakhi with one pointing his gun towards him. Another one slapped him hard. They dragged him into their van.
Little did the Man in the mask realize that the BLUE colored button that he pressed near the Locker at Professor’s house was nothing else than a Burglar’s alarm.

And add this twist also. At last the robber admits the truth that the professor is actually his father and he ran away from home as a child doing some mistake and gaining the hatred of his father. At that time he was unaware of the mistake and grew as a robber and later grew under a mass robber who trained him and asked him to enter the professor house. After seeing him as his father, he made up his mind to save the money from the mass robber and so only took that. At last the professor will ask his son also to live with him. And me and udhayanidhi stalin will come at last one shot.
